Bill Roberson got his start in photography at age 12 when his father let him use his Canon AE-1 SLR and three lenses. Self-taught, Bill fed his interest in photography by shooting for his high school newspaper (The Grantonian) and later in college with the Oregon Daily Emerald in Eugene. From there it was on to the Stockton Record in California. He has a B.S. in Communications and Film from the University of Oregon (1992).
In keeping with a life-long interest in technology, Bill worked as the staff photographer for tech site Digital Trends until 2018. He added UAV/drone imagery to the mix with Perspective Drone Services in 2018 after receiving his FAA Part 107 Commercial UAV Pilot rating.
